Obituary of Lillian Marie (Kelley) Melanson

Lillian Marie (Kelley) Melanson, 99, of Peabody, died early Monday morning at the Pilgrim Nursing Home in Peabody following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife the late Edward Melanson. Born in Newark, NY, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Maryann (Muleaux) Kelley. She was raised and educated in New Jersey and has spent the last 50 years living in Peabody. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a housekeeper, cleaning private homes throughout the area. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Family Lot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lynn, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend.
