Obituary of Nancy Louise (Davis) Pothier

Nancy Louise (Davis) Pothier, 65, passed away at her home Saturday evening, October 28, 2006, surrounded and supported by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife and life partner of Richard G. Pothier with whom she shared 46 years of marriage. Born in Medford, MA on July 21, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Arthur W. and Greta A. (Ells) Davis. She grew up in Malden, MA, graduating with the class of 1959 from Malden High School. Nancy was a partner in business with her husband. She also enjoyed a number of hobbies over the years from ceramics, antiques, and flower arranging to event planning and traveling, bur her primary passion was her family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children, Mary Lou Baxter and her husband, Mark of Redmond, WA., Karen Fox and her husband Robert of Danvers, and Michelle Palmer and her husband Esker of Charleston, UT., two grandchildren, Nicole Fox of Beverly and Nathan Baxter of Redmond, WA., a sister, Carolyn Chadsey and her husband Clinton of Melrose; a nephew, Derek Chadsey of North Andover, MA and a niece, Jill Soucy of Swampscott, MA. Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St (NEW LOCATION) Peabody Facility to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
