Karen L. Thomas
DANVERSKaren L. Thomas, 50, daughter of Joan (Parker) Thomas of Milford, NH and the late John R. Thomas, Sr., died Friday evening at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center Hospital in Burlington following a brief illness.
Born in Lynn, she lived in the area, and lived in her Group Home in Danvers for over 20 years.
She was a participant with the Special Olympics, enjoyed coloring, dancing, country music, and was an animal lover, mostly dogs and horseback riding.
She is survived by her mother, Joan (Parker) Thomas of Milford, NH; a sister and brother-in-law, Debra & Robert Lothrop of Gray, ME; a brother and sister-in-law, John R. & Andrea Thomas of Milford, NH; five nieces and nephews, Jenifer Woodyard of East Boston, Matthew Woodyard of Amesbury, Matthew Thomas and John Thomas of Milford, NH, and Michael Thomas of Arizona, and several aunts, uncle and cousins.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a visitation from 10 to 11:45 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location, Peabody.
Her Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon.
Cremation will take place after the ceremony.
