Obituary of Florence A. (Gistinelli) Carlson
Florence (Gistinelli) Carlson 83, of Peabody, died late Saturday evening at Salem Hospital following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Alfred Carlson.
Born in Belmont, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Madeline (Cansale) Gistinelli. She was raised and educated in Peabody and attended Peabody Schools.
Besides being a homemaker, she worked in the leather industry at both Carr and Regis Leather. She also worked at Dorothy Muriel’ s Bakery at the North Shore Shopping Center.
She enjoyed reading and spending her time with her entire family.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and Gerard Morse of Peabody; two grandchildren, Robert and his wife Christin Morse of Lynn and Kerry Morse and her fiancé Thomas Clark of Peabody; a great grand daughter, Abigail Morse as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Felix Jess Gistinelli.
Her Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Tuesday from 4 until 8 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
