Obituary of Frances M. (Rauseo) Distaso

Frances M. (Rauseo) Distaso, of Peabody, died early Wednesday afternoon at the Pilgrim Nursing Rehab center in Peabody following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Guy Distaso. Born in East Boston, she was the daughter of the late Girard and Felicia (Lapina) Rauseo. She has lived in Peabody for over thirty years. She worked for many years at the GTE Sylvania on Loring Ave in Salem prior to her retirement. She also enjoyed dancing and more importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Frank Atwood of Haverhill, her brothers, Dominic Rauseo of Revere and Anthony Rauseo. She was the loving mother of the late Robert Distaso, and sister of the late Phyllis Arbogast and Michael Rauseo. Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 12:00 PM Noon at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody Facility to which family friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Hospice of the North Shore, 10 Elm St., Danvers, MA 01923.
