Obituary of Jeff M Griffin

Jeff M. Griffin, 49, of Peabody, died Monday evening at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington following a brief illness. He was the husband of Cindy (Brown) Griffin. Born in Lynn, he was the son of Gerald and Elaine (Gedick) Griffin of Peabody. He was a life long resident of Peabody and a graduate of Peabody High School. Prior to his illness, he worked for over 10 years for the town of Lynnfield as a Facilities Director for all of Lynnfield’s Public Schools. He enjoyed coaching his children and was very active with the Peabody Youth Soccer and Softball Leagues as a coach. He also enjoyed watching and routing for all of Boston’s Professional Sports teams, the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics. Besides his wife Cindy, he is survived by his three daughters, Cailin, Breezy, and Olivia Griffin, all of Peabody, his brother, Greg Griffin of Peabody, his two sisters, Kathy Griffin of Lynn and Karen and her husband Donny Kerr of Errol, NH., and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held on Friday at 8:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody Facility, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Adelaide’s Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
