Obituary of Laurence J. Conway

Laurence J. Conway II, 22, of Burlington, MA died unexpectedly Wednesday in Lincoln, MA. He was born in Boston, MA on September 20, 1984, the son of Laurence J. and Linda (Dahut) Conway and resided in Burlington most of his life. He was a graduate of St. John’s Prep of Danvers in 2003 where he played on the Prep Tennis Team. He also participated for two years in the Grundy, Virginia Community Service Project. He was currently in the class of 2008 at The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester majoring in Philosophy. During the summers, he had been a tennis instructor in the summer recreation programs in Peabody and later in Burlington. He enjoyed reading, listening to music, playing golf, skiing and ping pong. Besides his parents of Burlington, he is survived by a brother, Michael Conway, a student at Trinity College of Harford, Ct. and Burlington, MA, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday , December 23, 2006 at 11:00 AM in St. John’s Church, 16 Church St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 1:00 PM in St. Margaret’s Church, Winn St., Burlington. All are invited. Expressions of sympathy for Laurence may be made to St. John’s Prep, Grundy,VA Community Service Project, c/o St. John’s Prep 72 Spring St., Danvers, MA 01923 in his memory.
