Obituary of Marion Lillian Heckman

Marion L. (Kohut) Heckman, 75, of 115 Lowell St., Peabody, died Saturday at the Lahey Clinic Northshore, Peabody after a long illness. She was the wife of the late John C. Heckman. She was born in Peabody on August 27, 1926, the daughter of the late Ignatius and Victoria (Wronkowski)Kohut , and was a life long resident of Peabody. She had been employed at the former GTE Sylvania at the Loring Ave, Salem plant For over 25 years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed being with her children and Grandchildren. She is survived by 2 sons, John Jack Heckman of Beverly and Ron Heckman of Lynn, a daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Darrell Lavoie of Salem, a sister, Emily Silva of Peabody; 9 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Marilyn Martinuk and the sister of the late Eleanor Trout, Helen Kushnieruk and Katherine Michaud. Her Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 8:00 P.M. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 20 Church St., Peabody facility.
