Obituary of Robert J. Wood, Jr.

Mr. Robert J. Wood, Jr. age 32 of Peabody, died Tuesday from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in New York City. Born in Lynn, he was the son of Robert J. "Woody" and Linda Gail (Chabra) Wood of Peabody. He was a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School Class of 1990 and lifelong resident of the City of Peabody. He was employed by his family's business the Wood Trucking Corporation in Peabody as Office Manager and Vice-President for many years. Bob loved music, dancing, travelling with beloved staffordshire terrier "Dozer" and his feline "Boodah". In addition to his parents, Bob is survived by his brother Jonathan T. Wood of Peabody and his wife Melissa. Grandson of Arthur Wood, Sr., of Peabody. Uncle of Samantha, Madison, Jonathan Jr. and Patrick James Wood. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the brother of the late Timothy Patrick and Amanda Lyn Wood; Grandson of the late Eva and Andrew Chabra, Sr. and Patricia Wood. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Services on Sunday, February 20th at 7 PM in the Conway, Cahill Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut Street, facility, Peabody. Visitation Sunday from 3 PM until time of services. Interment will be private.
