Obituary of Mary J. (LeFave) Gaynor
Mary J. (LeFave) Gaynor, 45, loving wife of Allen R. Gaynor of Peabody, died unexpectedly Tuesday January 16, 2007 at Salem Hospital.
Mrs. Gaynor was born June 2, 1961 in Peabody, daughter of William L. and Clara M. (DeLuca) of Peabody. She was raised and educated in Peabody and was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Gaynor was employed for 17 years as an inspector at Medtronics Corporation in Danvers until her disability retirement in 2002. Mary was very involved attending her niece Jacqueline’s activities, loved to shop for clothes and especially shoes, also enjoyed traveling, doing crafts and cooking. Mary was also very devoted to her husband and did everything for him.
In addition to her devoted husband with whom she shared 6 ½ years of marriage and her beloved parents of Peabody, she is survived by a loving sister and brother-in-law, Ann F. and Richard Deleskey of Danvers; a cherished niece, Jacqueline Deleskey of Danvers; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. (new location) Peabody followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, 16 Church St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Sunday 3 to 7 p.m. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, New England Chapter, 280 Hillside Ave., Needham, MA 02494.
