Obituary of Juanita (Peoples) Lobley

Juanita (Peoples) “Nita” Lobley, 81, of Derry, NH formerly of Lynn, MA, died Thursday evening, January 19, 2007 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Walter Edward Lobley. Born in Winston Salem, NC, she was the daughter of the late Robah Gaither and Minnie (O’Dell) Peoples. Mrs. Lobley retired from the K-Mart Corporation in 1998 after 29 years. Following her retirement she moved to Bullhead City, Arizona from 1998 to 2004. She was a member of Peabody Emblem Club #2 for 22 years serving as an officer of the club and running or assisting with fundraisers for both her club and the Peabody Lodge of Elks B.P.O.E. 1409. Mrs. Lobley is survived by a son, Dennis R. Lobley of Arizona; a daughter, Wanda J. Murphy of Derry, NH; a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Lobley Banks of Arizona; five grandchildren, Sandra Sexton of West Virginia, Lance and Daniel Lobley of California, Cheryl Bishop of Arizona and Chris Murphy of New Hampshire. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, Raymond, Maura, Brendan, Matthew, Adam, Liandra, Vaelen, Aidan, Erin and Caleb. She was the mother of the late Lance Fay Lobley. A visitation will take place on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody Facility to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Following cremation, a graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 PM at the family lot in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St., Peabody.
