Obituary of Mary Theresa (Oakley) Justice

Mary T. (Oakley) Justice, 73, died peacefully Wednesday evening at the Peabody Glen Healthcare Center in Peabody following a long illness. Born in Medford on April 4, 1933, she was the daughter of the late John and Kathleen (Lyons) Oakley. She lived in the Medford area for much of her life. She graduated from Rosary Academy in Watertown. She moved to Peabody where she made her home for the last 36 years. Mrs. Justice worked as a Secretary at Stahl Finish, USA in Peabody for 20 years before retiring 14 years ago. She lived life simply amidst her small, close-knit family. She enjoyed music from the 40’s and 50’s, old movies, and was an avid sports fan, especially for Patriots and then Red Sox. Surviving her is a son and daughter-in-law, George & Donna Justice, Jr. of Beverly and Peabody. She was preceded in death by her brother, John J. Oakley, Jr. last year. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a visitation preceded by cremation on Sunday from 3 to 5 P.M. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location, Peabody. A Funeral Service commemorating her life will be held on Monday at 10 AM in the funeral home to which all are invited. Urn burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
