Obituary of Grace R. (Bono) Smith

Grace R. (Bono) Smith, 83, wife of the late Albert J. Smith Jr., died unexpectedly on Saturday February 24, 2007 at the Rosewood Nursing Home in Peabody. Mrs. Smith was born on June 8, 1923 in Boston daughter of the late Vincent and Grace (Pizzimenti) Bono. She was raised and educated in Boston. In 1960, she moved to Peabody where she has since resided. Mrs. Smith was employed as a City of Peabody Crossing Guard from 1978 until 1990. She was a communicant of St. Adelaide Church. She is survived by her children, Paul F. Smith and Vincent A. and his wife Bernadette Smith all of Peabody and 3 grandsons, Michael, David and Bradley Smith of Peabody Her funeral will be held Monday March 5, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. (new facility) Peabody followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Adelaide Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Sunday 3 to 6 p.m. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
