Obituary of Anthony O. Indrisano
Anthony O. “Tony” Indrisano, 72, of Peabody and formerly of East Boston, died early Friday morning at his home following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Maureen (Giuffre) Indrisano with whom he shared over 46 years of marriage.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Anthony A. and Lena (De Stefano) Indrisano. He was raised and educated in East Boston and graduated from Boston Technical High School, class of 1954. He later attended Merrimac College and Wentworth Institute. He has spent the last 44 years living in Peabody.
He worked as a Facilities Manager for the Digital Corporation in Bedford for over 15 years. After his retirement from Digital, he worked an additional 3 years at MIT Lincoln Labs
He loved the water and enjoyed boating, and when he was younger, enjoyed building model boats. He was a member of the Lynnfield Knights of Columbus and served as Eucharistic Minister at both Our Lady of Assumption Church in Lynnfield and Salem Hospital.
Besides his loving wife, he is survived by a brother, Peter Indrisano of Souderton, PA, a sister, Dr. Lee Indrisano of Swampscott, a granddaughter, Caroline Lachendro of Georgetown, and a son-in-law, Kevin and his wife Cheryl Lachendro of Georgetown. He was the loving father of the late Andrea Lachendro and Lisa Indrisano.
His funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody Facility, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Lynnfield, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
