Obituary of David X. "Mousy" O'Connor

David X. “Mousy” O’Connor, 36, husband of Tammy M. (Perez) O’Connor of Peabody, died March 2, 2007 at Salem Hospital after being stricken at his home. Mr. O’Connor was born on June 12, 1970 in Salem, son of Thomas J. O’Connor Jr. and Patricia (MacLaren) O’Connor of Salem. He was raised in Salem and graduated from Salem High School class of 1989. Following his marriage to Tammy 5 years ago, he moved to Peabody. David was employed for the last 4 years as a development specialist with Comcast in Malden. Prior to this he had been employed for 8 years as an account administrator with State Street Bank in Boston. His wife Tammy said she lost her soul mate who lived life to the fullest. David dedicated his life in every aspect to his 3 year old son Michael David and his 2 older children Anthony & Alison. His family and friends also knew him as a comedian and prankster. He loved the outdoors especially the Pittsburg NH area. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and was a sports enthusiast who followed the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and his favorite hockey team the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was very proud of his baseball card collection. In addition to his wife of Peabody and parents of Salem, he is survived by his children, Michael David O’Connor, Anthony M. and Alison M. Estevez of Peabody; his siblings and their spouses, Marie and David Maurice of Salem, Thomas J. O’Connor III of Franklin NH, Patrick O’Connor and his significant other Debbie Grella and Brian and Terry O’Connor all of Lynn; his aunt, Sr. Bridget O’Connor S.N.D. of Cambridge; his mother-in-law, Dinorah Perez of Danvers; his father-in-law, Priamo Perez of Lynn; many nieces, nephews and cousins. His sister-in-law Lissette Breen pre deceased him on June 1, 2006. His funeral will be held on Wednesday March 7, 2007 at 8:45 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. (new location) Peabody followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Anne Church, 292 Jefferson Ave., Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
