Obituary of Mary L. Taglieri

Mary L. Taglieri, 65, of Salem, died early Friday afternoon at the Hunt Nursing and Retirement Center in Danvers following a brief illness. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Altimore and Leonie (Dumas) Taglieri. She was a lifelong resident of Salem and graduate of Salem High School. She owned and operated her own Beauty Salon for over 20 years and also worked as a Home Health Care Nurse for Associated Home Care for over 10 years. She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, William and Nancy Taglieri of Peabody, and sister and brother-in-law, Roseanna and Henry Cook of Maine, a beloved God Son, PJ Chandler, her longtime friend, Marianne “Sandy” Chandler, both of Salem, and is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. She was the sister of the late Altimore and Robert Taglieri. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 24 at 9:00 AM at St. James, Lower Chapel Church, in Salem.
