Benjamin F. Hayward
PEABODYBenjamin F. Hayward, beloved husband of the late Anne (Argeros) Hayward, died unexpectedly Friday morning at Beverly Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Concord, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Mary (Galvin) Hayward. He was reared in Lynn and Saugus where he attended schools.
Mr. Hayward worked for several restaurants before settling into his career as a Bus Driver with Hudson Bus Lines for many years until his retirement.
He was a member of the B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge 1409 in Peabody.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Stephen & Mariellen Hayward of Peabody. He was preceded in death by brothers Joseph Hayward and James Hayward, and sister Margaret Fahey.
His Funeral Ceremony will be held on Thursday at 9 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 8 P.M.
Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
