Obituary of Mary D. (Mason) LePage

Mary D. (Mason) LePage, 94, of Peabody, wife of the late Harold Stanley LePage with whom she shared 70 years of marriage, died Monday April 2, 2007 at Salem Hospital. Mrs. LePage was born on April 25, 1912 in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, daughter of the late Thomas and Hannah Mason. She was raised and educated in Nova Scotia. Following her graduation, she immigrated to the United States making her home in Peabody. Mrs. LePage lived for her family and was also well known in her neighborhood as someone who loved cats. She is survived by 3 sons and 2 daughters-in-law, Richard J. and Mary Ellen LePage of Salem, Thomas S. and Rita LePage and Robert J. LePage all of Freedom, NH; 6 grandchildren, Amber Yeager of PA, Ronald Martin of FL, Richard LePage of Bridgewater, Jennifer Hogan of Bradford, Kelly Denham of Peabody and Thomas LePage of NY; many great grandchildren, a dear niece, Rita Kochilaris of Danvers and many other nieces and nephews. Her daughter Joanne Martin and 7 brothers and sisters pre deceased her. Her funeral service will be held Thursday April 5, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. (new location) Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may pay their respect Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Friends of Animals, 777 Post Rd., Varien, CT 06820.
