Obituary of Nancy L. Bell

Nancy L. Bell, 57, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Thursday April 5, 2007 at the Lahey Clinic Northshore Hospital in Peabody. Miss Bell was born on December 1, 1949 in Peabody, daughter of the late Stuart and Helen (Spence) Bell. She was raised in Peabody and graduated from Peabody Veterans Memorial High School Class of 1968. She then pursued her education and received an Associates Degree in Social Studies from North Shore Community College. Nancy was a lifelong resident of Peabody. Miss Bell volunteered for a few years to drive cancer patients to the North Shore Cancer Center. She was a communicant of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Peabody. Nancy was an artist who also enjoyed reading, fishing and caring her vegetable garden. She is survived by her siblings and their spouses, Edward S. and Barbara Bell of Marblehead and Marcia W. and Vincent Spinale of Seabrook, NH; 5 nieces and nephews, Donna Talkington, Karen Spinale both of Seabrook NH, Laura Spinale of Peabody, David Spinale of Danvers and Andrea Bell of Charlestown; many grand nieces and nephews. Her niece Jennifer A. Bell pre deceased her. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 10, 2007 at 11 A.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St. (downtown location) Peabody. Relatives and friends may pay their respect from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Jennifer Ann Bell Memorial Scholarship Fund, C/O Danvers High School, 60 Cabot Rd., Danvers MA 01923.
