Obituary of Geraldine (Ferranti) Bonfiglio

Geraldine (Ferranti) Bonfiglio, 91, of Peabody and formerly of East Boston, died early Monday Morning at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Carl Bonfiglio. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Florence (Magna) Ferranti. She was raised and educated in East Boston where she had lived for over 83 years. She has spent the last 8 years living in Peabody. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of family and grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be dearly missed by family, including her children Barbara and her husband Carmen Cuzzi of Peabody, Santo and his wife Carol Bonfiglio of Fla., Francis and his wife Donna Bonfiglio of Saugus and Deborah and her husband Kenneth D’Agostino of Peabody, also survived by her nine loving grandchildren, Lisa, Kimberly, Robin, Carmen, Carl, Bobby, Maria, Michele, Malissa, Matthew, Frank, and Kenneth, and by 25 great grandchildren. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 AM in St. Adelaide’s Church, Lowell St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Following the Mass, burial will take place in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Expressions of Sympathy can be sent to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
