Obituary of Angela M. (DeDonato) Goglia
Mrs. Angela M. (DeDonato) Goglia, beloved wife of the late Julian J. Goglia, died at Brooksby Village in Peabody on April 13, 2007, surrounded by her loving family, following a lengthy illness. She was 86 years old.
Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, on March 1, 1921, she was beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Mary L. (Sicuranza) DeDonato. Raised in East Boston she was a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed baking for her family and friends. Mrs. Goglia was a real family person, always caring for her beloved children and grandchildren. Before moving to Peabody several years ago, she and her beloved late husband, Julian, lived for many years at Ferncroft in Middleton.
She was the loving mother of Robert and his wife Shirley M. Goglia of Middleton, William J. and his wife Lucille C. Goglia of Wilmington, Eileen M. and her husband Mark R. Christopher of Plymouth and Elaine M. and her husband Domenic T. LaSala of Revere, devoted sister of Arthur DeDonato of Holbrook, Emma Balboni of Peabody, Sr. Mary Rose DeDonato, Daughter of Charity, of Binghamton, New York and the late Otto DeDonato (KIA-WWII), Rose Pandolfo and George DeDonato. She is also survived by eight cherished grandchildren; Jennifer, Kristen, Mellisa, Robert, Alicia, Mark, Jason and Justin and five beloved great-grandchildren; Lauren, David, Owen, Anthony and Julian.
Funeral from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, New Location 82 Lynn Street, Peabody, Wednesday, April 18 at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Richard of Chichester Church, 90 Forest Street, Danvers at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours, Tuesday from 4 to 9 PM. Entombment, Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
