Obituary of Stella (Koulas) Boyson

Stella (Koulas) Boyson PEABODY—Stella (Koulas) Boyson, 84, beloved wife of the late Walter Boyson, died Friday morning at the Rosewood Skilled Nursing Center in Peabody following a long illness. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Gregory and Constance (Liatsis) Koulas, and was a lifelong resident of the city. She graduated from Peabody High School. Mrs. Boyson worked for A.C. Lawrence Leather Company for several years, and most notably enjoyed her career in the restaurant field. She was a Waitress or Hostess with King’s Grant in Danvers, Rico’s in Danvers/Topsfield, Strombergs in Beverly/Salem, Sam & Joe’s in Danvers and the Holiday Inn in Peabody. She enjoyed being with people, and especially playing Beano and Bingo. Surviving her are: one sister, Martha Partaledis of Peabody, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death, besides her parents and husband, by brothers Peter, Ted, Ernie and Bill Koulas, and sisters Dottie and Bettie Koulas. A visitation will be held on Monday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location, Peabody. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 AM from the funeral home followed by a Funeral Service at 10 AM in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
