Obituary of Kelly L. Vida

Kelly L. Vida, 44, fiancée of Steven A. Silva of Peabody, died unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday April 25, 2007. Kelly was born on April 8, 1963, in Sanford Maine, daughter of Arlyne R. (Pillsbury) Cassidy of Beverly and the late John E. Cassidy. She was raised and educated in Beverly and resided in Beverly and Salem before moving to Peabody 15 years ago. Kelly was presently employed as a service associate at Kindred Healthcare in Peabody. She loved the ocean and going to the beach and she also supported the North Shore Cancer Center in Peabody with their cancer walks. Kelly loved cooking and caring for her plants and her dog Rosie. She was known as the social butterfly that had many girlfriends. In addition to her mother of Beverly and her fiancée of Peabody, Kelly is survived by her children, William J. Josselin of Middleton, Karlyne R. Vida of Peabody and Leanna A. “Lou Lou” Franco of Peabody; her siblings and their spouses, John L. Kelley III of Gloucester, Linda M. and Scott Woodbury, Leanne R. Cassidy all of Beverly and Colleen P. and John Walke of Danvers; 2 grandchildren, Christian Josselin of Middleton and Xavier Vida of Peabody; her godparents, Leo and Diana Pillsbury of St. Albans, VT; a lifelong friend, Cindy Ellis of Peabody; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday May 1, 2007 at 10 a.m. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. (new facility) Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Monday 5 to 8 p.m. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beverly. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the North Shore Cancer Center, 17 Centennial Dr., Peabody MA 01960.
