Obituary of Virginia Shahnaian

Virginia Shahnaian PEABODY—Virginia Shahnaian, 83, died Monday evening, April 23, 2007 at the Sunrise at Gardner Park Assisted Living Facility in Peabody. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Garabed and Haiganoush (Antriasian) Shahnaian. She was a lifelong resident of the city, and graduated from Peabody High School. Miss Shahnaian was employed in the Clerical Office with General Electric at the West Lynn facility for years before her retirement. She is survived by: a brother, George Shahnaian of Peabody; a sister-in-law, Barbara (Karavedas) Shahnaian of Peabody; two nieces, Pamela & Richard Hutchison of Lynnfield and Sophia & Joseph Hennessey of Peabody; one nephew, Charles Shahnaian of California, and several great-nieces & great-nephews. Rev. Dervarton Kassabian, Pastor of St. Gregory Armenian Church of North Andover officiated a private family Funeral Service was held in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home in Peabody following cremation.
