Obituary of Henrietta Mary (Lech) O'Shea

Henrietta Mary (Lech) O’Shea, 99, of Peabody, died Wednesday evening at the Salem Hospital after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Charles W. O’Shea who died in 1969. She was born and raised in Salem, the daughter of the late Wilenty and Anelia (Hincman) Lech and had resided in Peabody for the past 60 years. At one time she had been employed at the former Pequot Mills in Salem prior to her retirement. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting and doing crossword puzzles. She is survived by a son, Charles T. O’Shea of Peabody, a daughter and son-in-law, Florence and Warren Dow of Beverly, a sister, Alfreda Archambault of Dracut, MA, 5 grandchildren, Charles B. O’Shea of Orlando, Fl, Beth Bertini of Haverhill, Brenda O’Shea of Acworth, NH, and Lisa and Laura Dow of Beverly, 2 great grandchildren, Daniel and Dylan Burrows of Haverhill, MA and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Alfred and Tedius Lech, Stella Morse and Valentina Mc Donald. Her Funeral will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 20 Church St., Peabody facility followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, Peabody at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. Please note that Visiting hours will be on Saturday , May 12, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM.
