Obituary of Jeanette Violet (Pomer) Regnier

Jeannette Violet (Pomer) Regnier, 76, of Peabody and formerly of East Boston, died Wednesday afternoon at her home following a brief illness. Born in Winthrop, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sadie (Gangi) Pomer. She was raised and educated in East Boston and has spent the last 10 years living in Peabody. She had worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as an assistant with the MWRA for six years prior to her retirement. She was the loving mother of Mark Regnier and Gene Regnier and his wife Maura Hoyer-Regnier, all of North Attleboro, William and his wife Mary Regnier of Franklin, she is also survived by her brothers, Dr. Frank Pomer of Belmont, and Salvatore Pomer of Peabody, her sisters, Margaret Yarosh of Canton, Dottie Haddad of Weymouth, Rose Whalen of Randolph, Eleanor West and Marie Pomer, both of Peabody, and a very dear friend and cousin, Ida Scarnici of Peabody. She was the sister of the late Joseph Pomer. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 8:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody Facility, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Lynnfield to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Roslindale.
