John G. Haidaczuk
PeabodyJohn G. Haidaczuk, 60, died Sunday morning in the comforting setting of his home with his loving wife, Judith (Starrett) Caron-Haidaczuk, at his side, following a brief illness.
Born in Peabody, he was the son of the late Gregory and Sophie (Kohut) Haidaczuk. He attended Peabody schools, and was a lifelong resident of the city.
Following a few years of work and contributing to supporting his family, he valued and honored his patriotic duty by enlisting in the United States Army. He served in the 11th Armored Calvary during the Vietnam War, and returned as a disabled veteran.
Mr. Haidaczuk most recently worked in maintenance at the Tannery II Apartments on Crowninshield St. in Peabody before his retirement.
John enjoyed connecting and being one with nature as an Outdoorsman, whether hunting or fishing on a lake, pond or stream. He was quite an active member of the Disabled American Veterans, D.A.V. Post 100 of Peabody and the V.F.W. Post 1011 of Peabody.
John will be missed by friends and family, including: his loving wife Judith (Starrett) Caron-Haidaczuk of Peabody, with whom he shared nearly 10 years of his life; two sons, John Jr. and Sean Haidaczuk from a previous marriage; five step-children, Michelle Roderick, Mike & Sandra Caron, Mark & Maureen Caron, Christine & Dennis Thibodeau, and Jeff & Sarah Caron; 12 step-grandchildren; five brothers and their spouses, Raymond Haidaczuk of Commerce, CA, James & Lee Haidaczuk of Newburyport, Greg & Donna Haidaczuk of Lee, NH, Dick & Kathie Haidaczuk of Salem, Robert & Audrey Haidaczuk of Chaumont, NY; one sister, Anne Marie & James Douglas of CA., and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, relatives and friends are invited to a gathering visitation from 10 to 11 AM on Friday in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location, Peabody.
A Funeral Ceremony in commemoration of his life will be held at 11 AM in the funeral home.
Urn burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.

or to the V.F.W. Post 1011, Stevens St., Peabody, MA 01960
