Obituary of Joseph B. Copello, Jr.

Joseph B. Copello Jr., of Peabody, died Sunday, June 10, 2007 at Salem Hospital. Born in the Ancon Canal Zone, Panama, he was the son of the late Joseph B. Copello Sr, and Virginia Mae (Hanna) Copello. He was employed by the Department of the Air Force. ESC/XPK, Hanscom AFB, MA He was a Vietnam War veteran who served with the United States Amy, 5th Special Forces, 101 Airborne Division. He was the recipient of a Silver Star, a Bronze Star and multiple Purple Hearts and an Air Medal. He is survived by his beloved fiancée, Diane M. Marron of Peabody, his beloved four children, Tamara Copello of San Antonio, TX, Michele P. Copello of Largo, FL, Joseph B. Copello III of Litchfield, NH and Karin A. Copello of Tampa, FL., three grandchildren, Joseph Jordan and Kierston E. Copello of Canastota, NY, and Destiney L. Woodworth of Tampa, FL., and a sister, Marguerite Zumbado of Orlando, FL. His funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody Facility, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in St. John’s Church, Peabody at 11:00 AM to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody
