Mrs. Nath and family-I am very sorry to hear about the loss of Dr Nath. Though I only knew him for a few months while caring for him at Shaunghnessy, I will never forget him. He was a wonderful, smart man. I really enjoyed your stories about him and his life and your life in India. Please take care and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Lindsay, RN

We are going to miss Radhanathda dearly but the sweet memories will always be there. We can still remember the day when he gave the demonstration to a big group of us of how to make rosogolla. May his soul rest in peace. Our deepest sympathy to Paruldi, Sutu, Amit, Mou, Chris and the grandchildren.

Siben and Krishna
June 29, 2007

The Bengali community of Greater Boston has just lost a longtime community member, wise man and a good friend to so many. We personally remember him from our early days in this area since 1969. He was one of the founding members and leader of the first Bengali association of this area. He will be missed. May his departed soul rest in peace. Our sympathy remains with Paruldi, Sushmita (Sutu), Amit, Mousumi, Christopher and the grandchildren.

From the Bengali Community of Greater Boston’s point of view,
an era has come to an end. RadhaNathDa started the community association
from scratch some 39 years ago. Against all odds, total dedication, and selfless labor he gathered
Bengali loving people to celebrate Bengali festivals. He was a guiding force to
“lost” and “newly arrived” Bengalies. If anyone needed any help - he was the source to get it.
To RadhaNathDa community good was above self. The hole he leaves behind will be impossible
to fill, his sense of community service is unimaginable, his cohesive force is something to emulate.
- Subir, Krishna & Ron Mallick
We will miss Radhanath Uncle dearly. We have fond remembrances of his playfulness (whenever I would see him he would greet me with a smile and "ki, kamon acho, mashi?!") and his kind and generous spirit. We also deeply appreciate his leadership in helping to build a sense of community amongst the Bengalis here in Boston.

RADHANATHDA WAS NOT ONLY OUR FRIEND, HE WAS A FATHER FIGURE TO US. WE WILL MISS HIM. WE STILL REMEMBER HIS ADVISES AND HOW HE LOVED TO INVITE US TO HIS HOME AND TREATED US WITH EXOTIC FRUITS AND VEGETABLES. WE WILL NOT FORGET THE THANKSGIVING DINNER, WE ENJOYED FOR TWENTY YEARS. SWEET MEMORIES OF RADHANATHDA WILL ALWAYS BE WITH US. GOD BLESS HIM.
