Tom and Family, my prayers are with you as you mourn the loss the void has created. I will always remember Barbara as the person who brightened my day when ill tidings had drained me. Her passing is an enormous loss to the universe. That I knew her was an honor and a privilege.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Durkin Family at this difficult time. As clients of Barbara's for over 10 years, we looked forward to our annual tax appointment with her. It was always nice to "catch up" on the past year's happenings - whether it was the birth of a child, the purchase of a new home, a change in employment - it was like catching up with an old friend. Barbara was always kind and friendly, and we will always remember her smile and her cheerful laugh. We feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to have known Barbara, and are deeply saddened by the news of her passing. She was a very special person.

Dear Tom, Children and Grandchildren:

Today is such a sad day for both of us.
I cherish the memories of Barbara going back to our childhood in Brighton. While our lives have found us in distant cities in recent years, I have always counted Barbara among my closest and dearest friends. While she will be dearly missed, we will always remember her for her beautiful smile and sunny disposition. She was a special person.
