Philip J. Peters
PEABODYPhilip J. Peters, 57, died Friday evening at the North Shore Medical Center-Salem Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Phyllis (Graves) Peters, and was a lifelong resident of Peabody. He graduated from Peabody High School.
Mr. Peters worked in the Maintenance Department with the North Shore Shopping Center which became the North Shore Mall for years. He recently worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator with Lynn Sand & Stone which is now Aggregate Industries in Swampscott for several years.
Phil was a member of the B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge 1409 in Peabody, and a member of the Italian-American Club in Peabody.
He is survived by: a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph & Mary Ellen Peters, Jr. of Peabody; a nephew, Joseph Peters, III and niece Jody Minichillo, and several friends around the North Shore.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6 to 8 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location, Peabody with an Elks Lodge Ritual Ceremony.
His Funeral will be on Thursday at 10 AM in the funeral home to which relatives and friends are kindly invited.
Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Middleton. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
