To Artie's family and friends:<br><br>When I think of Artie, I see his little smirk as though he is about to say the funniest and maybe naughtiest of jokes. He always had a kind word. A warm smile. A joyous laugh. A loving and caring man who adored his family and friends. He loved deeply and always wanted the best for those he loved. <br><br>He had a way to look at you and smile that made you forget if you had a bad day. You just smiled too. His smile and laughter were infectious. <br><br>He touched many lives. He inspired me to become an ordained minister too. We were honored to have him as Bill's best man at our wedding. Bill and Artie were childhood friends. I am so grateful to Artie and his wonderful companion, Elaine for bringing Bill and I together.<br><br>I can't believe this has happened. It just doesn't seem real. I wish I could give him another hug and tell him how much he meant to me, to us. I wish I told him that I loved him. I hope he knew. I wish ... <br><br>I am so blessed and a better person for knowing him. I will miss him so much. I know he is with God, his beloved Debbie and his dog Glennie, and has peace. <br><br>Even though we would rather have him here with us, Artie will live on in each of us until we all meet again.
