Obituary of Arthur "Artie" Kutsumitis

Arthur “Artie” Kutsumitis, 44, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Friday afternoone at his home. He was the devoted husband of the late Deborah (Hincman) Kutsumitis. Born in Salem, he was the son of James Kutsumitis of Lantana, Fla and Anastasia (Giannopoulos) (Kutsumitis) Roberts of Peabody. He was a life long resident of Peabody and graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1982. Artie worked for over 25 years for Hincman Pools Enterprise in Salem. He did every facet of the job from pool installation, running the shop and doing the book keeping. He was a valuable asset to the company, keeping things neat, tidy and organized. Artie enjoyed learning and recently had become a Justice of the Peace and tax preparer. He also was a kind and generous soul who often would donate money to local cancer and lung associations. He was a fun loving person and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Besides his loving parents, Artie is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Glenn Hathaway of Haverhill and his three special nieces, and his companion, Elaine Sullivan of Revere. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by Funeral Services at 10:00 AM in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
