Mr. Fillos, as I always addressed him, is the father of one of my childhood friends, Steve. I lived just down the street on Hawthorne Boulevard. I will never forget your kindness, Mr. Fillos, your devotion to your family, and your service in WWII for our country. You are one of the quiet heroes that made our country great. I ask God to bless Mrs. Fillos (Anthe), Steve, Debbie, and Pamela, and all of the extended Fillos family in their loss.
