My husband Dan and I were driving by Walter and Annie's house yesterday which is apparently and ironically Annie's one year anniversary of her passing. I saw a for sale sign on her house and decided to look her up and found out about her passing. My husband and I worked with Walter at Market Basket. We became close with him and Annie over the years. We used to visit their home and get treated with flowers and home made jam. We had kept in contact throughout the years with Annie through Christmas cards and have just recently lost contact over the last few years. Annie and Walter were wonderful wonderful people. I got the chance to briefly meet some of the family while Walter was in the hospital and they were wonderful as well. I know it's a year too late but I wish you all the best and I know that Walter is thrilled to have his Annie with him... God Bless!!!! Dan and Danielle Riley
