To all of you my deepest condolences. Alice and I were colleagues in court reporting, served on the Examination Committee together and traveled to the Bahamas together where we each bought a time share. We had many great weeks there with family and friends. She and I connected again here on the Cape, getting together for dinner and other outings. I really enjoyed being with her and missed her when she left for Peabody, but I knew she was happiest there. Kim, you were the only one I knew, not only from your visit to the Bahamas but from the reflexology sessions, which were great. Give me a call sometime and tell me more about your grandmother. I know she was very proud of all of you. Take care the know I'm thinking of you now. Dottie Robertson

Dear Cecilia and Family, please accept my condolences on the death of your loved one. Cecilia, you were the one who introducd me to the poet Kahlil Gibran and I have so enjoyed his poetry that I am leaving you with a few of his words which I hope will bring some measure of comfort to you and your famly: "For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun? And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered? Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begain to climb. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance."

Remembered Joy
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free!
I follow the plan God laid for me.
I saw His face, I heard His call,
I took His hand and left it all...
I could not stay another day,
To love, to laugh, to work or play;
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
And if my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss...
Ah yes, these things I, too, shall miss.
My life's been full, I've savoured much:
Good times, good friends, a loved-one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief?
Don't shorten yours with undue grief.
Be not burdened with tears of sorrow,
Enjoy the sunshine of the morrow.

I found this Irish poem and thought how apt for Aunt Alice and Dad.
