To Ida's Family, Sympathy to all of you. I remember all of the family when I was growing up on Northend Street, and in the Portuguese community and church. My deceased parents were Maria & Bucky Amaral, who lived at Tannery II where George also lived. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
Ruth Amaral Tripp, Cary, NC

Dear Patsy,Joanne and families, I was very sorry to hear about Aunt Ida. I know the last years have been difficult, but I will always remember her at our big family gatherings at Vo Vo and Vou Vou's. I miss her home- made Portuguese candies she used to give us every Christmas. Love, your cousin Tootie

Dear Pat and Joanne,
I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Aunty Ida. I have many memories of her and the family. She was always very beautiful and always smelled wonderful (those are little girl memories). I also remember her spending so many hours making sure all of the Maria kids would have costumes, gowns, etc to wear in the Portuguese parade. Aunty Ida always made sure we had the Portuguese candies at Easter and Christmas.

I'm sure the last few years have been very hard for you and her. She is now in heaven with Uncle Joe and I know they are happy to be together again.

Our love and thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. God Bless!

Love,
Donna
