Dear Timmy, Donna, Blane, Karen and families: Our prayers are with y'all at this time of your grief. I'm happy that Jean had the opportunity to meet your mother on our trips up North. I remember Aunt Fran as a person who always had a smile, was easy going, and had a positive outlook on life. She is now with your Dad and my Mom & Dad and enjoying God's presence. I'm sure they are talking about the times Uncle Bob brought home sweet corn and lobsters and how each of you picked one from the floor and had it placed in the pot after your dad labeled it for you. Enjoy the sharing of your memories. Peace, Lawrence & Jean

Dear Donna, Timmy, Blane, Karen and family
I got word from my daughter Kimberly (Dunn) MacLaughlin, and Kara Dunn about Aunt Fran's Passing. I just wanted you to know how much I respected your Mom and Dad. They always treated me very special and I always loved being in their company along with all of you. I have many fond memories of all those parties, weddings etc.
I especially remember the time Aunt Fran and my Mother in Law, Mary Claire came down in very snowy February to take care of our chldren so that I could accomany Gerard on one of his business trips. Aunt Fran being the type of person she was got a shovel and went right out and shoveled a path so she could catch her plane to be with all of you for her Birthday. She didn't want to miss it and she didn't. I have pictures of her shoveling, God bless her she was very special. I am sure you know how I miss being with all of you in this time of celebrating her life. She had a very interesting life and was well loved by all her family, nieces and nephews.
Much love to all of you
Cousin Lena

My Dearest Aunt Fran,

I remember all the stories that you told us when we were children about your army military career. I was fascinated by them and knew that that's what I wanted to do, join the military. You molded my life and gave me character, the kind that it takes to be a military woman. When my time came I joined the military and made it my career. You gave me that courage. And I will never forget it.

I've been remembering our dance, cheek to cheek, at Jared and Michaela's wedding. We had so much fun on the dance floor. I even have pictures. I ran off copies and put them up on the wall, just for you and me. Maybe I'll bring them with me just to show you how beautiful they came out.

I've been trying very hard to find your uniform. Now I'm on a mission. I'll find it, one way or another, and try to get pictures made and give them to your children.

From the heart, I will miss and love you for all eternity.

Love,

Jody

Dear Cousins,
I am so sorry about the sudden death of your mother. I love the line about her being "feisty." It certainly runs in the family. She was a character and enjoyed life, too. I remember her coming to my dad's 80th birthday party with sunglasses with flashing lights. The grandchildren loved them.
I am sorry that I cannot come up and celebrate Aunt Fran's life with you in person. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully we can get together on one of my visit's north later this year. God be with you.
Love, Cousin Ellen
