I'm very sorry to hear of uncle Billy's passing. Although I have not seen him in many years I have many fond memories of him from my childhood. Going to football games with him and my dad in the cold and watching them drink "coffee" together and getting a drumset from him when I was about seven because He new I would drive my dad crazy with it. We will miss him.
Love, Derek and Maureen Hayford

I have fond memories of Bill. He came
into my life when I needed a father
figure. After WWII Bill and my mother
were dating. I most remember the summer
of 1947, when I was seven. We spend many
days at area beaches. We always stopped
at Johnny Joyce's, off Union Street
in
Lynn, for chopped ham sandwiches for
lunch. I will always remember Bill with
a great fondness.
Yours,
John Fritz

If in anyones Life, someone could say they met a "TRUE" Gentleman, the I have experienced it. It was always a pleasure to sit next to Bill and over a cold one to listen to the tales of the old "GARDEN". Russell, Sam and KC Jones, Heinson, Cousy, and of course Fenway Park and the Sox[ 30's,40's,50's]. And I thought I was a sports trivia buff. I will forever miss that.
