Troy and McHenry Family,

I am so sorry for the lose of your mother. She was truly a remarkable woman and in the limited interactions I had with her during my time at the Prep I can truly say she made a remarkable impact on me. Her smile was contagious, her love passionate, and enthusiasm for the Prep never wavering. My deepest condolences for your lose and I will keep your family in my prayers at this time of need.

Dear Dave,David,Monique & Troy,
I worked with Terry for many years. When I think of her, I see her smile and I remember our many conversations about all of you. Dave .. Terry was always so proud of her 'man'. David & Monique .. you were both very young when I met your mom - she was always so proud of you both talking about your sports or how well you were doing in school. Troy .. I remember when you were born - you kept your mom young! She was always bragging about that little boy who was growing so fast.
I know this is a very sad time for all of you but find comfort in all the good memories and in knowing that you were so blessed to have a wonderful wife & mother who loved you so much. Although we would all like many years with our loved ones, find comfort in knowing the years that you did have were wonderful. Unfortunatly, the price you pay for the years of love your mother gave you is the hurt you feel now in letting her go. Keep her in your heart as she has always kept you. Sincerely saddened ... Lucille

My heart goes out to my friend, Dave, and the McHenry family. In my 38 years, I have come across very few people with as much of a loving spirit and endlessly giving nature as Terry. I also remember her just seeming to have this youthful joy about her. She was as excited to be a fan of ours at our basketball tournaments as we were to play in them. Another thing I remember about Terry is how I felt like a son of hers when staying at her house - she just had this way of mothering anybody within reach. I can't imagine how much her family will miss her - she was probably one of the best grandmothers on the planet; I wish I had the chance to see her in action! I bet she would have actively grandmothered my three boys if our family had made it up to Peabody before she left us all so exceptionally early. We will miss you, Terry!
The ultimate trust you can show a person is to leave your child in their care. We were very fortunate to have had Terri spent over five years with our son, Sam. Her nurturing ways, playful tickles, and huge hugs and kisses as she left for the day will always stay with us. She was there through the crawling stage, walking stage, diaper stage, talking stage, school stage, and so much more. Sam loved her so much. As his parents, we will keep his memories of her strong in his mind and heart. We cannot thank her enough for all she did for him. As for myself, Terri has been big part of my family for as long as I can remember. I will always remember her big smile, her even bigger heart, and for the wonderful way she treated my mother as if she was hers. She will be truly missed by all of us whose lives her touched.
