To the Saffer Family:<br />My sincere condolences and prayers go out to you all in the loss of a wonderful wife and mother, a truly kindhearted neighbor and friend. I spent a lot of time in your home, and in the homes of Pat's mother and sisters, growing up. She, and her family, were always so generous to include the neighborhood children in their activities. I remember her teaching me to cross myself when an ambulance would go by (always thinking of others), studying her nursing courses, and later meeting her in Salem Hospital as she took care of my grandmother. She is well remembered today, and always.
