My fondest memories memories as a child included the times when Auntie Eva and Uncle Peter came to visit. It always meant a fresh batch of Dunkin' Donuts. To a kid from Lynn, it was a special treat. Aunt Eva was a gentle soul with a friendly smile. She will be greatly missed.

My best wishes at this most solemn time.

John Tourkantonis and my son Ben

When I talked to Auntie Eva, it was like being back in high school talking to my best friend. There was nothing I couldn't or wouldn't say to her; laughs were never lacking. She was a tremendous listener.

It was by listening to her, however, that I learned what a truly amazing woman Auntie Eva was. Her courage, her strength, her wisdom, but even more than all of that, her faith, guided her through this life...right to the very end.

She was an incredibly brave woman who led and did not follow. She often said she did it her way, and that she did. I so admired all of the qualities that made her who she was. I will no doubt miss our conversations - which often went on for hours, our laughs -about the silliest things, and the stories she would share from long ago. Thankfully though, I will not have to miss her spirit. You see I carry Auntie Eva's spirit inside of me. She is my heart and soul and she is with me everywhere I go.

Yes, you did it your way Auntie Eva, and it was fabulous.

I love you.

Your Niece,

Paula
