Cathy ... You'll forever be remembered as a person who gave so much of herself to help others. I'll always cherish the good times that we spent together, laughing, playing, dancing. We poked each other, we picked on our sisters and cousins together, we transitioned from childhood into teenagers and finally, into adulthood, together. You always managed to find just the right words and expressive thoughts when I (we) were at our lowest. There were just so many times we celebrated life's journeys together. You'll never be truly gone for those memories will stay within my mindscape for eternity.<br /><br />I hope you finally have found solace now, that you will rest in peace knowing you have touched and affected many lives throughout your short journey here. I wish your pathway had been smoother, that tribulations didn't block your road. But all-in-all, you lived your life as you desired, which is something most people cannot muster the courage to do. <br /><br />With a single red rose, a lone balloon, and a lifetime of memories from our childhood, I pray that you are free to soar higher than anyone envisioned.<br /><br />Rest in peace, Cathy, and know that the words that I whispered to you the other day were true...
