Our thoughts and prayers are with you all today. Our family has been reminiscing all week about the fun our boys had with Aunt Edie and Papa with their tea parties, sitting in Papa's boat, and playing games with prizes and of course. . . sweets! We all have very fond memories of our years on Dexter Street having a 2nd grandmother living next to us. Growing up as her nephew, Aunt Edie was a special person to me with many family get togethers and the great memories attached to them. Love and sympathy are extended to you all.

Just wanted to let you know that I saw Edith's obiturary in today's Salem News, and I am so sorry for your loss - my condolences to the entire family. I am the youngest of Don/Muriel Pelletier's children from Danvers. Freddie was Mom's first cousin - one of the MacDonald girls from Danvers - all gone now. I remember going to your house on Dexter St. (?) in So. Peabody when I was a little girl. But I will always remember how lovely and gracious your mother was whenever I saw her. The photo in the paper was just as I remember her! Take care and God bless - Susan Pelletier Ortins

To The Family, I want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I also want to share the comfort of John 5:28,29 where we are promised that those who have fallen asleep in death have the hope of receiving a "resurrection" back to life. Life on an earth restored to a beautiful paradise. Psalms 37:11 says, "The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." While we await that wonderful time please find comfort in these promises.
