It's such a shock, I have no words other than I loved her and will miss her so very much...but...if anything helps it's knowing she is with your father and also Dick who considered them his dear friends, they are up in heaven watching over us all. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. See you later.

I worked with your mom for many years at the birthplace. Each day she came with a smile and made sure her patients, the babies and the nurses she worked were well cared for. So many times she had us laughing, she truly loved your dad and all of you. Today we talked with people who knew her and we all said the same thing what a wonderful person she was...take care of each other you had a great role model !

At times like these we sometimes think of missed opportunities with special people in our lives. Such was (almost) the case with Lorraine. It was only a year ago that I was fortunately able to visit with her and her family as we paid our respects and said goodbye to Roy. In September of this year while visiting Boston I was able to only talk to Lorraine by phone; things being as hurried as they were for both Guy and me, we never made a Proctor Street visit happen.

That said, there was no, "I wish I'd have made the time in September to spend time with Lorraine" moment. The reason being: The time spent with her and her family last year was so fulfilling and well paced (despite what brought us together) we were able to catch-up on life as well as reaffirm to each other the richness of our acquantance.

bill

Mom you taught me to be good to myself as well as others. Your strength was matched by your grace. You never gave up on anyone and you would not let us give up either - we are who we are because of you. You are at rest - a rest you so deserve. I will miss you no doubt but I am comforted knowing you're in the busom of God. And please take it easy on those who are foolish enough to play UNO with you. Your loving son.

Donna, I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I remember so many stories you told when we worked together, of your parents. Their spirit and love will always be with you, and as you, your brother and sisters continue to talk and remember them, they will always remain with you.

Mom...i dont have enough words to describe how i feel about you, or how lost i feel without you. You are the most nurturing and compassionate Mom anyone could ever have. I cant even believe this has happened, it will take awhile. You and Dad are now dancing in the heavens together, its where you wanted to be. This was such a hard year for you trying to get use to Dad not being around, and i know you were so lonely for him, you loved eachother like no other could. Thinkiing of you together is the only thing right now that makes me say "its ok". I will miss you forever, but will see you and Dad again some day....i love you.
