Obituary of Lorraine (Ouellette) Stockton

PEABODY—Lorraine M. (Ouellette) Stockton, 77, beloved wife of the late Roy Stockton, died unexpectedly on Sunday November 27, 2011 at her daughter’s home in Madison, Maine with her family by her side. Born in Salem on May 6, 1934,, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Marie-Anne (Levesque) Ouellette. She grew up in Salem where she attended schools, and graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy. She lived in Peabody for 53 years. She married the love of her live, Roy Stockton on May 25, 1952 and together they raised their four children. Mrs. Stockton worked as an Obstetrics Technician at Salem Hospital for 20 years in the oncology and nursery departments from 1980 to 1999 retiring 12 years ago. Lorraine spent time in Peabody and in the summers at the family cottage in Mercer, Maine. Lorraine was a dedicated nurturer in her workplace at Salem Hospital and in giving to her family especially to her husband. She is survived by four children and their spouses, her son, Guy & his wife Elaine Stockton of Crestview, FL; three daughters, Bernadette & Tom Daley of Madison, ME, Donna & Peter Nuzzi of Portsmouth, NH, and Lorraine & Billy Beaulieu of Madison, ME; five grandchildren, Aaron Stockton, Nicole and Timothy Beaulieu, and Michele and Grace Stockton; two brothers, Gerard Ouellette of Peabody and Paul Ouellette of Western MA; two sisters, Rita Ouellette of Worcester,MA and Pauline Lavallee of Seabrook, NH, several nieces and nephews and many loving friends.. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for her Funeral Service on Friday December 2, 2011 at 11 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM. . Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
