To one of the happiest go lucky men that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Your smile and quick wit will be missed. I will remember the many laughs that we all shared when I use to hang out with Val many years ago at your home in Lynn. I will also remember when we meet again someday, never to park my car in front of your house. We all should have an Arthur in our lives. You and Irene together in life, now together forever.
Love, Denise
To Dianne - Although I never met your Dad through you and some of your posts I can see he was full of life and a loving Father. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family in this very difficult time. You'll miss him and you'll always remember him.

Arthur, you were the best brother-in-law that someone could ever have, & whenever someone would ask you a question about something, (me) you would respond "what are you writing a book". We had so many good times when you were living on the same street coming over your house, having dinners together, laughing joking,etc..Everything was great. We are really going to miss you Love your sister-in-law Maria

God Bless you Arthur and thank you for all the fun times from our early days at Polaroid in Norwood, to Brockton, to Lynn and beyond. Infectious laugh, deepest empathy, gentle heart, and genuine caring for all - who could ask for more. My deepest condolences to the Hatgis family.

So long, Uncle Arthur--
A wonderful and devoted husband to my Aunt Irene. You were a great example of living life to the fullest, and that we should never take life too seriously. Your exuberant presence among us will be missed, but your indomitable spirit will never leave us.
Love,
Valerie

Arthur i will always remember you as the handsome man i would see singing at all the Greek dances I went to as a young girl. I grew up seeing you sing and have many memories of dancing to your music. I will always remember your fond stories and memories of how you knew my papou and grew up with my mom and aunt. Later in my life you met and became friends with my husband Tim. As your friendship grew you took time to take my boys TJ and Chris under your wing and taught them to be better golfers. Tim,my children, and myself are saddened with your loss and you will forever live in our hearts. We love you Arthur and may you rest in peace in the arms of GOD. Tim and Irene

I am so sad to hear about Arthur's passing. What a wonderful, charisimatic man. He sang at our wedding and always made any party an event. You were our son's Godfather! Which we are so grateful for. I remember his first haircut with you (yes he cried - sort of like his dad in that way, the big baby :), lol ) I know you would appreciate the humor. I also remember how the kids and us came to your house and you made prime rib and the most delicious mashed potatos EVAH! Everything we did together was always memorable. You will be missed tremendously but you will always live in our hearts. You made everyone around you smile with your infectious and charming voice. I always told you that you could sell snow to a snowman (and I bet you did - lol). I wish you and your family comfort and love. Thank you for making our small world here on earth a better one. With Love!

I first met Arthur at the Postal District Office in Woburn. Although I didn't work with Arthur at the Lynnfield Office, our paths would cross evey now and then. He was in my estimation, "one in a million". Arthur always had a big smile and a joke to share when seeing me. I will always remember Arthur as a kind gentile guy and as a ggod friend.
My deepest condolences to Arthur's family.
