Christine,

I am very sorry for having missed the services, I was not aware until yesterday they had passed on. I really enjoyed them and wished my children could have spent more time knowing them. Knowing how much they loved you I'm sure it gave them great comfort having you there with them at the end. The fact that they passed together speaks volumes about their love for each other and that they were peaceful and ready.

I hope you Kayla and Sara are well.

Love,
Carol, Kathleen, Maura and Bridget Twomey

I had the honor of caring for Daniel and indirectly for Angelina in the course of my nursing job at Beverly Hospital. I loved listening to his war stories and am the proud owner of one of his lovely Christmas trees which he gave me as a retirement present. A greater love than theirs has never existed and God was kind to bring them home together as I do not think one could have lived with the other. God Bless you Mr and Mrs. Mello, may you rest in peace.

The passing of your parents is a true love story. I was privileged to meet them before they passed. What a wonderful couple. Christine you have been taking care of them for such a long time, I just dont know how you have done it. Your parents were truly grateful for all you did for them, your Dad told me, they loved you dearly. You, your beautiful daughter, and her fellow should all be very proud of yourselfs. You got through this, you can get through anything life throws at you. You are a kind and decent woman and I hope we always remain friends.

I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know your parents but I am deeply touched by their passing. After being married for 69 years they knew they could not go on without each other. To me it sounds as though they lived a true love story. I am sure they are in peace since they have each other.
