To the Taubert famly: In my twenty six years on the city council, Al was the very best director the City had ever experienced.
You are all in our prayers at this time. Had they istened to Al on the Salem Peaabody Connector Road along the waterfront, we would be all blessed with his ever presence...a good job from a true and faithful servant.

Bill Toomey

Like it was yesterday. I met Alan in the 70's when I worked at Eastman Gelatine and Alan worked for the City of Peabody. We worked on many projects together. He was a wonderful person and I really enjoyed working with him. He will be missed.
With sympathy.
A. John Rizzone

God bless you Uncle Al, I know you went through a lot of tough times and life got to be really hard on you. We are sure you are in a good place now. But what I remember as kid, was all fun, especially family get togethers. I knew at a young age my Uncle Al was a little off the wall and just a big kid , but that's what made him fun to be around. Now, myself at 56 with four kids, I see we had a lot in common ! Oh, and a special thanks to you for helping my dad build our pool in Shrewsbury for Deb and I in the '60's. .
Aunt Sue, your are a saint.
Love and sympathies to all,
Marty, Alyson, Alex (@WPI!) Austin , Evan and Cam
