My sweet Papou... I am so thankful that I had you for 21 years. Not only to hear what you were all about but to see it and believe it. You came from Chios Greece to the United States and started a life here with your own two hands. You made things happen when people had their doubts and you still did that till the day you were released from your painful body 10/20/12. Your hands were over worked and frail, your poor feet were cold, your heart was tired and your body was growing old. So God saw that and relieved you of your pain and weakness. He helped you feel the warmth of the light and took you into his arms. No longer are you tired, nor in pain. Your chest has loosened up the tight grips it once had on your heart so now you may breathe at ease. Your feet are now warm. Your hands are strong and your body is like new. I will remember you for all the good you have done. I will learn more about your past and continue to tell your story. How you gave us life here, how you created it all. I will share your stories with my kids, and they will share with their kids so on and so forth. You are a legend Papou, forever and always in my heart. I will keep you close to me always. I love you Papou and miss you terribly? I know you will always be watching over us? My Sweet Papou.. Love always your Grand Baby? "Your Jessica"?

For You Dad From Your Daughter. First guy to ever love me. First to sweep me off my feet or plant those scratchy whisker kisses gently on my cheek. First man to take me seriously. First pal I ever had. First guy I ever gave my heart to....I love you Dad. You were wise beyond your years. You always helped those in need. I always wondered how you could accept people no matter what their faults were. You taught me a passion for family, food, music and cars. How to appriciate the simple things in life. You were a simple man who paid his dues. Talented in many ways, you tought me where there is a will there is a way! Everything I am is because of you. I miss being able to call you and knowing you are there telling me "Baby if I could take it away I would".I will miss your sayings like when asked how you are doing and you would say..."Better than nothing" You were just greatful to be alive. NO more no less. Most of all I will miss that smile and glow in your eyes when I would come to visit you. You have been guiding me all along. You loved everyone of us equally no matter what. You learned true patience and tolerance for people and situations no matter how much you struggled with your own dissappointments. You leave a legacy to us all that will live on. I love you Daddy infinity X the universe! Love your little chickadee.

Dad, I can describe the pain that I feel. I will miss your warm smile, your words of wisdom and your ability to accept people for who they are. You're generosity of love and spirit and willingness to help others find their way is a quality in you I have always admired. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I will think of you often sitting in your garage on Aborn Street letting me build things along side of you, I will think of the trips to Salem Willows to hear the ocean and eating ice cream. I will think of you when I eat smoked almonds because you use to bring them home to me when I was a little girl and when I listen to the blues or shoot pool. I will remember your love of the three stooges, history and science, cars and art. Most of all I will remember the way your eyes lit up when we would see each other which reassured me that you loved me no matter what. I love you Dad. Peace be with you. Corina
